5. Installation on Emerson Fans Having
Two-Piece Die-Cast Switch Housing
5.1
Disconnect Electrical Power to the Branch Circuit at the
Circuit Breaker or Main Fuse Box before attempting to
install the Ceiling Fan Light Fixture.
5.2
Remove the Two Cover Screws from the Switch
Housing Cover below Ceiling Fan (Figure 13).
5.3
Replace the previously removed Two Screws loosely in
the Switch Housing.
Do not tighten the Screws, as shown in Figure 14.

Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To avoid
possible electrical shock, be sure electricity is turned
off at the main fuse box before wiring. All wiring
must be in accordance with National and Local codes
and the ceiling fan must be properly grounded as a
precaution against possible electrical shock.
