8. Use a wrench to set the anchor by turning the
nut three to four full turns.

4. OPERATION
WARNING. Before each use, check that:
your hands are dry before operating the
device, the device is clean and dry, the
device is not damaged, the device is
properly assembled and securely mounted
to the floor.
Switching on/off and adjusting the power level
(Fig. A)
The heater can be turned on and off using the
remote control (21) or using the buttons on the
heater itself. Also, the power level can be adjusted
using the remote control or using the buttons on
the heater itself. Before use, the power switch (3)
on the heater must always first be turned on.
Using the remote control
If you do not have the remote control in your pos-
session, please contact Vonroc customer service.
• First turn the switch (3) on the heater to the 'I'
On position.
• Press the button (22) on the remote control (21)
to turn the heater on.
• Press the 'MIN' button (23) for level 1: 800W
• Press the 'MED' button (24) for level 2: 1200W
• Press the 'MAX' button (25) for level 3: 2000W
• To turn the heater off, again press the button
(22) on the remote control (21).
• Press the switch (3) on the heater to the 'O' Off
position to power off
Using the mode button
• First turn the switch (3) on the heater to the 'I'
On position.
• Press the mode button (11) subsequently to
switch between power levels: level 1 (800W),
level 2 (1200W) and level 3 (2000W)
• Press the switch (3) on the heater to the 'O' Off
position to power off.
Tip over safety switch (Fig. A)
This heater is fitted with a tip-over safety switch.
In the event that the heater falls over, the heater
automatically shuts off. Please note that when the
heater is returned to its upright position, it does not

resume its operating immediately. First switch it off
(read 'switching on/off'), remove the plug from the
socket and check the heater for damage. In case of
damage or malfunctioning do not use but offer for
checking / repair. If there is no damage, you can
simply switch the heater on again (read 'switching
on/off').
Reset the remote control (Fig. A)
If the remote control fails to connect with the heat-
er, it is possible to reset the connection between
the heater and remote control by following these
instructions:
1. Turn heater on by following the steps from the
chapter 'switching on/off'.
2. Press and hold the mode button (11) on the
heater until you hear a beeping sound. The
receiver in the control box has now been reset.
3. Press the on/off button (22) on the remote
control (21). The heater and remote control are
now connected.
5. MAINTENANCE
Always make sure that the machine is not
connected to the mains electricity when you
carry out any maintenance of the mecha-
nism.
CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT
open or try to repair the heater yourself.
Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft cloth,
preferably after each use. Make sure that the ven-
tilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Remove
very persistent dirt using a soft cloth moistened with
soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline,
alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such as these will
damage the synthetic components.
• DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive pow-
ders, furniture polish or rough brushes to clean
the heater. This may cause damage or deterio-
ration to the surface of the heater.
• DO NOT immerse the heater in water.
• Wait until the heater is completely dry before
use.
ATTENTION:
• Always disconnect the heater from the electric-
ity supply and allow it to cool before attempting
