The Onbone heating device is intended for use with Onbone
products only. The device can be used to heat splint-like
Onbone products. Do not use the device against instructions by
manufacturer.
Before use
•
Place the device on a solid, well-aligned worktop or table.
•

disconnecting of the device is easy.

Do not place the device next to a tap or sink. (Danger of water sprays or
splashes!)
Using the Onbone A001 heating device
1. Switch the power ON.
2. Open the lid, place the Onbone product on the heating area and close
the lid. The heater will switch on after you have closed the lid.
3. Heating times using the Onbone A001 heating device:
• 1 mm Ribbon: 3 – 5 min
• 2 mm and 2 mm Soft: 8 – 10 min
• 4 mm: 15 – 20 min
4. Once the product is soft and malleable, it is ready to be moulded to fit the
patient. Ensure the product does not feel too hot.
5. Fit the product according to the instructions
NB! The device will switch off if you open the lid. The heater will
switch on again once you close the lid.
Adjusting the temperature
The default temperature setting is around 67 °C, which is the heating
temperature when the middle temperature indicator is lit. Use the plus and
minus buttons on the control panel to lower or raise the temperature as
required.

Make sure that the Onbone product is not too hot for the
patient!
