Warning
To Prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, do not
expose this unit to rain or moisture. There are high
voltage components inside so do not attempt to open
the enclosure. Only qualified service technicians are
allowed to maintain the unit.
Caution
This DVD player contains a class 1 laser diode system.
Read this manual carefully and familiarise yourself with
the instructions before operating.
Afer reading this manual, please keep it for future refer-
ence.
To prevent direct laser radiation, do not attempt to open
the enclosure. A visible laser beam will radiate when
the enclosure is opened or when the interlock device is
released. Donot stare at the laser beam.
To avoid damaging the loader of the unit, please do not
pull or drag the tray of the loader when operating, and
switch off the power supply only when "NO DISC" is
displayed.
Never place objects on top of the unit. Doing so may
affect playback or damage the device.
Warning
If using power plug and appliance coupler as a
make and break device, it should operate easily.
● Do not damage or modify the power cord. Also, do
not place heavy objects on the power cord, or pull

on or excessively bend it , as this could cause
electrical damage and result in a fire or electrical
shock.
● Do not insert or unplug the power plug with wet
hands, as this may result in electrical shock.
● Do not bundle up or tie the power cord in a knot, as
this may result in a fire or electrical shock.
● Insert the power cord completely into the socket, as
failure to do so may result in a fire or electrical
shock.
● Do not use power cords other than the provided
power cord, as this may result in a fire or electrical
shock.
● If you are not going to use the player for a long
time, be sure to disconnect the player from the wall
outlet.
● To disconnect the AC power cord ( main leads ),
grasp the plug itself, never pull the cord.
● During thunder storms, disconnect the telephone
line and switch off the power supply, so as to avoid
machinery damage, causing a fire or an electric
shock.
● For safety, an all-pole power switch is required in
the electronic appliances of the building with at least
3mm between each contact point.
● Keep the unit away from water or high humidity. It
is strongly forbidden to place any utensil with liquid
such as a vase on the top of the unit.
● Where the mains plug or an appliance coupler is
used as the disconnect device, the disconnect
device must remain readily operable.
● The apparatus must not be exposed to dripping
or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, may be placed on the apparatus.
