GET CDI UNIT INSTALLATION - For Yamaha YZ 125
1.
Find the OEM CDI: check
in your motorbike's workshop
manual where to find it. Remove
the OEM CDI from the mounting
rubber. Press the retainer clip of
the OEM CDI connector before
pulling it: make sure to remove the
connector without damaging it.
2.
Fix the supplied spacer* to the
left side of the CDI. Insert GET CDI
unit inside the mounting rubber.
*The spacer must be installed in
order to fill the space between the
CDI and the mounting rubber. This
is necessary to keep GET CDI unit
perfectly in position.
3.
Fix the GET CDI unit on
the right side of the bike as
shown in picture.
4.
Replace the OEM unit with
GET CDI and connect it to OEM
connector. Make sure they are
properly plugged in, and the
retainer clip is fully engaged.
