OPERATION
To install the battery (Fig.1)
Slide the battery (9) into the base of the drill until it clicks into place.
To remove the battery
Press the battery release button (8) and slide the battery from the
base of the drill.
LED light
Your impact drill is equipped with an LED light (7) to illuminate the
direct working area. The light comes on when the variable speed
trigger (6) is pressed halfway or fully.
Positioning and removing a drill or screw bit (Fig.2)
This tool is equipped with a keyless chuck (1).
Open the chuck by turning the collar counterclockwise.
Insert the drill or screw bit in the chuck.
Close the chuck by firmly tightening the collar while holding
the rear part of the chuck with the other hand.
In order to remove the drill or screw bit proceed in reverse
order.
Note: Before positioning or removing a drill or screw bit always
remove the battery from the machine.
Forward/reverse button
The forward/reverse button (5) determines the direction of the tool, it
also serves as a lock-off button.
Push the forward/reverse button (5) to the left to drill holes and
fasten screws.
Push the forward/reverse button to the right to loosen screws.
Note: Always wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill
before changing the direction of rotation.
Note: With the forward/reverse button in the middle position you
prevent the machine from being started accidentally.
Adjusting the torque
This machine has been fitted with an adjustable coupling to limit the
torque when tightening screws.
Turn the adjustment collar (2) clockwise to reduce the torque
and counterclockwise to increase the torque. The correct
setting depends on the type and size of the screw and the
workpiece.
In case of doubt, start with the lowest setting and increase the
torque until you have reached the desired result.
Function mode selector (Fig.3)
WARNING: Only change the function with the motor stopped.
Turn the function mode selector (4) to desired mode symbol shown
below:
