while the forward/reverse switch is in the center
locked position. Always lock the trigger or remove
the battery pack before performing maintenance,
changing accessories, storing the tool and any time
the tool is not in use.

CONTROLLING SPEED
NOTE: This tool may be used at any speed from
0 RPM to full speed.

1.
Set the front handle to the unlocked position and
the forward/reverse switch to the forward position.
2. Pull at least 18" of the cable from the tool. Insert at

OPERATION
NOTE: To avoid fatigue or to free a hand for
easier cable feeding, the tool can be placed
on the flat tool base during use.
3. Pull the trigger to begin rotating the cable.
NOTE: The cable can be fed without pulling
the trigger, but it may feed more easily while
rotating.
4. Grasp the cable close to the tool and feed it into
the drain about 6" at a time until the obstruction is
reached.
WARNING! Always wear leather gloves over
latex/rubber gloves to avoid entanglement.
NOTE: The cable is not attached to the inner
drum. Use care to ensure that it does not come
out of the tool. There is a cable end indicator
bulb approximately 3' away from the rear
end of the cable to indicate a low remaining
distance.
5. When the clog is reached, pull the front handle
into the locked position. Move the tool and cable
in a back and forth motion until the obstruction
is cleared. If the tool binds, release the trigger
immediately. Repeat until the drain is clear.
