13. Care and maintenance
The storeLAB ® safety cabinet is a technical safety device according to the relevant German
and European safety regulations (complies with EEC directive). To ensure its protective function
in the event of a fire it must be checked at regular intervals. The German safety regulations
stipulate that the safety devices must be checked by a specialist at regular intervals. The
interval between safety checks is currently one year.

13.1 Daily checks

• Escaped liquids must be removed immediately and disposed of properly.

The storeLab ® safety cabinet can be completely dismantled. Individual components, e.g. metal,
insulation panels, door locks, etc. can be recycled separately. National and local waste disposal
regulations must be observed. To preserve resources the safety cabinet components or the
safety cabinet itself should'nt be disposed of as domestic waste.
