Cleaning the infuser ("Clean brew")
When you make a total of 300 cups of coffee, the display will
show "CLEAN READY". Even though this state still allows you
to make coffee or use any other functions, it is strongly
recommended to perform this cleaning program as soon as
possible. Special tablets to clean this appliance can be readily
purchased, make sure to follow the instructions provided
with them. After using them, wash and refill the water tank
with clear water and complete a rinse cycle.
Proceed as follows:
1: Machine will display "CLEAN READY";
2: Keep on pressing Enter until it displays "EMPTY TRAY";
3: Extract the drip tray, empty all waste water and put it back;
4: Then the machine will display "ADD TABLET". Press
Enter and the cleaning program will begin. The machine will
display "CLEANING".
5: After 10 minutes, this program will finish and revert back to
"READY" state.
To start this program manu-
ally to run a cleaning cycle,
follow these steps:
1: Press Enter to enter "MENU"
and access "INFORMATION".
2: Press the + button to scroll
and select "BREW CLEAN",
then press Enter again. The
appliance will then display
"CLEAN READY"; press Enter
one more time to start.
3: Press Enter to start cleaning
