blade if the user has taken a safe and calm stance.
In addition, the workpiece must be secured against
slipping on

Make settings
Handle adjustment
To adjust the handle, loosen the thumbscrew on the
handle. Turn the handle to the desired position.
Tighten the thumbscrew again.
Using a vice
Turn the handle on the vice clockwise to clamp the
workpiece. Turn the handle on the vice countercloc-
kwise to release the workpiece.
NOTICE
You can also tilt the 15q quick adjustment up to
adjust the vice more quickly. Quickly lower the 15q
adjustment again to secure the vice. Then make the
exact adjustment of the vice handle.
Transport insurance
To turn the band saw upwards, pull out the locking
pin. Turn the band saw down and push the lock
pin inside. Now you can transport the band saw with
the saw blade more easily.
Cutting angle setting (miter angle)
Allow the cutting angle to be adjusted by turning it
counterclockwise. Set the desired cutting angle using
the steps shown. Tighten the cut angle adjustment
clockwise.
Workpiece stop setting
During normal operation, the workpiece stop must
be fixed in the lowest position. If the workpiece stop
interferes during cutting, you can loosen the workpie-
ce stop screw. To do this, use the supplied Allen key,
small. This will allow you to move the stop
workpiece up. Then secure the workpiece stop again
with the workpiece stop screw.
Saw blade replacement
Wear safety gloves to prevent
to injury.
Release the saw blade clamping lever countercloc-
kwise.
Remove both locking screws with a small Allen key.
Remove both protective covers.
Carefully remove the saw blade. Start on the guide
rollers.
Remove any sawdust present with a brush or com-

the top into the guide rollers. Make sure that the guide
rollers fully grip the saw blade.
NOTICE
Make sure that the direction arrow on the saw blade
(if available) matches the direction arrow on the rub-
ber wheels. Place the saw blade around both rubber
wheels. Tighten the saw blade tension lever clockwise
again. Refit both guards.
