Inserting / changing the battery

Since batteries contain chemical
substances, they must be kept out of the
reach of children.
A red control light or volume-dependent
interference noise indicate that the
batteries are almost flat. In such an event,
replace the batteries.
The batteries' charge status will be
indicated on the entertainment system's
display on some cars. To ensure that the
correct charge status of the batteries can
be displayed, the use of alkaline batteries
is recommended.
Remove the batteries if the Original BMW
headphones are not going to be used for
some time.

Open the battery compartment by turning the
battery compartment cover (6) on the left-hand
headphone shell anti-clockwise.
Insert the batteries, observing the polarity.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Dispose of spent batteries at appropriate
collection points.
