Attaching connecting cable and product
Use one of the connecting cables specified in these instructions
only. The connecting cable must be sterile.
Inspect the connecting cable for damage, particularly the insula-
tion. Do not use it if it is damaged.
Connect the electrode handle and the connecting cable so that
you notice that they snap together.
6.4
Connect up the product and select unit settings
Plug the connection cable into the monopolar socket of the RF
surgical instrument.
Only select unit settings that do not exceed the maximum elec-
trical capacity of the product (HF peak voltage/V
voltage that the unit emits depends on the mode used and the
power selected. You can find information about the technical
data of the unit settings in the user manual of the electrosurgical
unit used.

Select trocar
Select a trocar for instruments with diameter 5 mm.
6.6
Using the product
Retract the needle completely when introducing into or remov-
ing from the trocar sleeve.
Open the valve for the trocar sleeve completely. Push the distal
end of the instrument carefully through the trocar sleeve. Exer-
cise no force.
