1. Carefully remove the cordless metal detector and check to
see that all of the above items are supplied.
2. Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or
damage occurred during shipping. If you find damaged or
missing parts, DO NOT return the unit to the store. Please

NOTE: Do not discard the shipping carton and packaging
material until you are ready to use your new cordless metal
detector. The packaging is made of recyclable materials.

Battery Pack Operation
The equipment is powered by lithium-ion battery. The battery
pack is completely sealed and maintenance free.

In order to operate this cordless metal detector you will need
an 24V iON+ System battery and charger. See page 17 for
battery and charger options and specifications, or for more
information visit sunjoe.com.
Battery Charge Level Indicator
The battery pack is equipped with a push button for checking
the charge level. Simply press the push button to read off the
battery charge level from the LEDs of the battery indicator:

The battery is at 30% capacity
The battery is at 60% capacity
The battery is at full capacity
NOTE: Charge the battery when low as soon as possible to
avoid degrading the battery life.
NOTE: If the charge level button does not appear to be
working, charge the battery.
NOTE: Immediately after discharging, the charge level button
of the battery may display a lower charge than if checked a few
minutes later. The battery cells "recover" some of their charge
after resting.
