5.2.5- Leaf bag (Fig.8)
Note: Before you remove and empty the leaf collection bag, ensure that
the machine has been disconnected from the mains power supply.
To empty the leaf collection bag simply open the zipper, empty the bag
and then close the zipper again.
When the leaf bag is open you can also check the function of the blower
vacuum's slide control (Fig.8). If there is a blockage in the machine,
check this function and remove the blockage.
Warning! Wear protective gloves whenever clearing a blockage.
5.2.6- Extension cord (Fig.9)
Tip:
The extension cord may come undone from the power cord
during use.
To avoid this, use the cable restraint (Fig.9)
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected from its
power source.
6.1- After using the machine
1) Empty the leaf bag.
2) Check the vacuum tube and remove leaf residue.
3) Check the blower/vacuum's slide control for leaf residue.
6.2- Cleaning
Clean plastic parts with a soft and clean cloth
Do not use aggressive cleansers (solvents or abrasive cleansers), or an abrasive sponge.
Do not use any caustic to clean the plastic parts.
Do not put or immerse tool in water or any other liquid, and ensure that no water gets inside the tool.
Clean ventilations holes with a soft brush.
6.3- Storage
Clean product and empty the leaf bag
Store product, instructions manual and accessories in its original packaging.
Product must be stored in a clean, dry location. Always lock up product and keep out of reach of
children.
6.4- Disposal
- Debris & remnants: do not throw with household rubbish or in the environment. Dispose of any
debris and remnants in rubbish collection centres or seek advice from your local municipality.
- Tool: do not dispose with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
Dispose of the product in a collection centre for waste of electrical and electronic equipment, or a
waste drop-off centre; or seek advice from your local municipality.
- Proceed with disposal of remnants, the tool, accessories and packaging according to local
regulations regarding the protection of the environment.
