3. MAINTENANCE
3.1. Revisions
Note: To ensure safety and keep the components in good
working condition, you must have your VAE checked periodically
by your seller:
First revision: 1 month or 150 km
- Verification of the tightening of the elements: crank, wheel,
stem, pedals, hanger, seat clamp.
- Verification of the operation of the transmission and assistance,
- Verification and adjustment of the brakes
- Tension and / or revealing of the wheels. Every year or 2000km
- Checking the levels of wear (brake pads, transmission, tires)
- Checking the bearings (bottom bracket, wheels, steering,
pedals)
- Checking the cables (brakes, derailleur)
- Checking the lighting
- Tension and / or unveiling of the wheels. Every 3 years or
6000km
- Change of transmission (chain, freewheel, chainring),
- Change of tires,
- Check of wheel wear (spokes, rim)
- Tension and / or unveiling of wheels
- Change of pads brake
- Control of electrical functions.
3.2 General maintenance
Your bicycle requires regular maintenance for your safety but
