Once the Rack Placement Guide is secured to the ceiling, observe the four colored markings on
the string. *The Rack Placement Guide is not exact* Measurements should be: 21 ½ inches
from each corner down the 8 foot lengths, giving you the center of the Down Tube location.
From there 53 inches to the next tube location. 49 inches center to center across the 4 foot
width.
These markings indicate where each of the Down Tubes (#2) will be placed. Locate the trusses
most near to these markings. Use lag screws (I) to affix each Mounting Track (#1) to the two
closest trusses. In some cases, you can lag down the center of one truss, although the preferred
method is to use two separate trusses. Refer to the next page for all viable mounting options.
Replicate this step for all four Mounting Tracks (#1).
