key-contact, and connect the blue wire with a good quality 'mass', e.g. the 'minus' of the battery.
Leave the black wire unconnected for now.
Turn the engine by hand to 'TDC' (Top Dead Center), indicated on the pulley.
Now turn the ignition-key on, and slowly turn the 123\FIAT clockwise, until the LED goes out. Now, turn
it SLOWLY in counter-clockwise direction, until the LED just comes on again. Tighten the unit in this
position.

STEP 4
Turn the ignition-key off. Hook up the black wire to the negative terminal of the coil.
Use the connectors supplied with the kit. Make sure all your electrical connections are secure, a bad
connection can cause a major problem in the future!
Tidy up everything carefully, e.g. use tie-wraps. Keep low-voltage wiring well away from high-coltage
leads. Connect the two bougie-cords to the coil.
STEP 5
At this point you can start your engine.
For ultimate precision, one may use a stroboscope for accurate time-setting. Best practice (optimum
precision) is to select curve '0' and check for a total advance of 28 degrees above 3000 rpm.
Fire it up and enjoy your 123ignition !
