• Make sure that the appliance has cooled
down before cleaning and putting it away.
• Make sure that the cord never comes into
contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains
when not in use, especially because it does
not have an on/off switch.
• Only use the appliance for food suitable for
cooking.
• This appliance must be kept clean at all
times as it comes into direct contact with
food. Consult the "Cleaning" section in the
instruction manual.
• Make sure that the appliance never comes
into contact with inflammable materials, like
curtains, dish cloths, etc... when in use, as it
could cause a fire.
• Keep a distance of at least 1 metre between
the appliance and the curtains.
• Do not use the appliance for defrosting
food (except bread) and only use slices of
bread without butter whose thickness does
