Connect using iOS Devices with
Apple WAC setup
(V3US15)
For customers who with to use the V3US as an AirPlay-only device, this is our
recommended method for connecting to your network using an iOS device. You can
also use the Play-Fi App, described on page 20 or the Web server method described
on page 26.
For best results, place your Wren speakers near your router. You can move the
speaker(s) after the setup is complete.
Once you have completed this setup procedure, you can stream music to your V3US
using AirPlay on your iOS device(s). In addition, you can use the Play-Fi App on your
iOS device(s) to stream music to multiple V3US speakers on your network.
Turn on your speaker(s). The first
time you turn on the Wren V3US, it
will start up in WiFi Connect Mode
(indicated by the WiFi indicator
blinking amber). In this mode, the
speaker is broadcasting a signal
telling iOS devices that it is ready
to connect.

To put speaker into WiFi Connect
Mode manually; Press and hold the
Setup button on the rear of the
speaker (about 8 seconds) until the
WiFi indicator blinks slowly.

On your iPhone/iPad, go to Settings
Settings
Select Wi-Fi and verify that your
network is selected
You will see a selection for "Set
Up New Airplay Speaker..." and,
in about 2 miutes, "Select the
"Play-Fi Device..."
