the hour hand must intentionally be set to a.m. or
p.m. based on the current time.
1
Pull the crown until it is in
position 3. the second hand
does not move.
2
Move the crown counter-
clockwise until the date
changes. then deliberately
set the current time either
a.m. or p.m.
3
Push the crown back into
position 1. the second hand
is back in motion.

Set month / date
Warning:
Do not use the quick set function for the
date between 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. because
there is no assurance that the date will change at
midnight after that; it may not change for another
24 hours.
1
Pull the crown into position 2.
2
rotate the crown counter-
clockwise. set the current
month, then the current
date.
3
Press the crown against
the case and simultaneously
turn clockwise until it is
firmly secured.
Measure time (chronograph)
the chronograph can be used to measure exactly
1/ 8 second time intervals for up to 6 hours.
the time measured can be read using the second,
minute and hour counters.
1
start measuring time using
the
P1
pusher. the seconds
counter is in motion.
2
to stop measuring time,
press the
P1
pusher again
and read where it stopped.
Flyback function
the timepiece also has a precise chronograph with
a flyback switch. this flyback mechanism allows
one to quickly start a second time measurement
while one is in progress. that makes it unnecessary
to push the stop, reset and start buttons.
1
While time measurement is
in progress, push the
P2
pusher to reset all the count-
ers to zero. the next time
measurement starts auto-
matically. In order to put all
the counters back to zero
after that, press the
P2
pusher with the chronograph
function stopped.
