6.2. START UP AND STOPPAGE
6.2.1. PRIMING THE PUMP
The pump in this unit needs to be primed the first time
it is turned on after installation.
To be able to suck up the water, the pump tank
must always be full of water. It should NEVER run dry.
1. Open the filter cap (11)
2. Pour water through the hole until water
overflows, at which point the pump body will be
full.
3. Screw in the filter cap (11).
6.2.2. CURRENT CONNECTION
It is mandatory to connect this machine to a current
point protected with a residual differential device
whose trip current is less than or equal to 30mA. The
voltage of this current point must be 230V, frequency
50Hz and have a 10A-16A magnetothermic switch.
Never use a damaged socket or extension
cord that does not comply with the regulations or
requirements for this machine. When using a cable
extension, it must always be fully unwound, with a
minimum section of 1.5 mm2, a maximum length of
25 m. and that it is suitable for outdoor use. The use
of an extension cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock. Place the extension cord so
that it does not touch water or it may fall into water
during operation of the pump. The extension cord
must always be dry and away from water.
Connect the machine to power.
Once connected, the message "Power On" will appear
on the LCD screen.

6.2.3 MANUAL START (Ever - On Mode)
1. Open the stopcocks of the circuit that exist in both
the suction and the discharge.
2. Press the "MODE" button until "Ever - On Mode"
appears on the LCD.
Ever - On Mode
Not Recommended
The pump will start to run.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the "Ever - On Mode" operating
mode the pump works constantly regardless of
whether or not there is water inside the pump and
also regardless of whether the stopcocks are open
or closed. This mode is only to check that the pump
is working but should not be used for more than a
moment and with water to check that the pump is
working.
Always before putting the pump in "Ever-On Mode"
make sure that the pump is correctly primed. If the
pump works without water inside it can be damaged.
Note: If after a reasonable period of time the pump
cannot draw water, stop the pump and check that
there is enough water at the suction point. If there
is enough water at the suction point, switch off the
machine and check the tightness of the suction tube.
If everything is correct, re-prime the pump.
Once water begins to flow from the open tap of the
circuit, the pump is ready for use. Press the "MODE"
button again to "Automatic Mode" or "Time Mode" or
"Power On"
6.3. WORKING MODE CONFIGURATION
The different working modes are selected by pressing
the "MODE" button on the pump.
