3.6- In the event of emergency
Stop immediately the tool and remove the battery.
Assist the injured person with first aid and call for medical assistance as quickly as possible.
If electrolyte leaks and contacts skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek immediate
medical attention.
IV. GETTING STARTED
Warning! The blower must NOT be used or switched on until it has been fully assembled.
WARNING: IF ANY PART IS MISSING OR DAMAGED, DO NOT OPERATE THE
MACHINE UNTIL YOU HAVE REPLACED THE MISSING OR DAMAGED PART.
4.1- Unpacking
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that tool and accessories are not damaged.
4.2- Assembly
The tool requires some assembly prior to first time use.
Tubes assembly (Fig.2)
Insert lower tube (2) into upper tube (4) and lock with lock/release tab (3).
Insert upper tube (4) into housing section (a) and lock with lock/release tab (5).
Check that tubes assembly is correctly done and securely locked.
4.3- Battery and charger
NOTE: model PRBAT20/SSB is supplied WITHOUT battery and charger.
NOTE: model PRBAT20/S includes 1 battery 20V 2.0A and 1 standard charger. The battery is
provided with a low charge state. To ensure proper operation of the tool, fully recharge the battery
before first use.
LEDs on battery
The LEDs on the battery (b) indicate the charging level of the battery.
Press on button [a], the LEDs battery level will light up:
3 LEDs on = the battery is fully charged (full capacity).
2 LEDs on = the battery is half charged (medium capacity).
1 LED on = the battery capacity is low and needs to be charged.
0 LED on = the battery is depleted.
Inserting and removing the battery (tool)
a) To insert the battery on tool: slide the battery into its compartment on the handle bottom part.
Make sure that the battery is securely locked.
b) To remove the battery: press the release button and pull battery out of the compartment.
Charging the battery
- Place charger on a flat and dry surface within 1m of a wall socket.
- Remove battery from tool.
- Insert/slide battery into charger (Only recharge with the supplied or recommended charger).
- Plug battery charger into wall socket (power source).
- Charge battery (see Table 3 for recommended charging time).
- After charging, remove battery from charger: press the release button and pull/slide battery out.
