d) Under abusive conditions of use, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e) Ensure that the switch is in the OFF position before inserting the battery. Inserting the
battery into power tools with the switch on invites trouble. Injury hazard.
3.2- Additional safety rules for the blower
a) Keep all parts of the body away from the blowing outlet.
b) Make sure the switch is in the OFF postion and battery is removed when clearing jammed material.
A moment of inattention while operating the tool may result in serious personal injury.
c) Carry the tool by the handle with the blowing function stopped. Proper handling of the tool will
reduce possible personal injury.
Hold the tool only by the gripping surfaces (handles).
d) Wear eye protection and gloves.
e) Never allow children or people who are not familiar with these instructions to use the machine.
f) Stop using the machine when people, in particular children or pets, are nearby or enter into the
working area. A minimum 15m distance is recommended.
g) Only use the machine in daylight or bright artificial lighting.
h) Inspect the working area before using the blower. Remove all debris and hard objects such as
rocks, glass, wire, etc., that could cause injury or damage during operation.
i) Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before inserting the battery.
Keep your hands and fingers away from the switch while inserting the battery.
j) Never run the unit without the proper equipment attached, always install the blower tubes.
Use only with attachments and/or accessories supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not use with any opening blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air
flow.
k) Make sure that any ventilation holes are free from dirt. Clear any obstructions.
l) Switch off the tool when transporting to and from the working area or between two working areas
m) To avoid spreading fire, do not use blower near leaf or brush fire, fireplaces, barbecue pits,
ashtrays, etc.
n) Never place objects inside the blower tubes. Always direct the blown debris away from people,
animals, glass and solid objects such as automobiles, walls, etc.
The force of air can cause rocks, dirt or sticks to be thrown or to ricochet which can hurt people or
animals, or break glass or cause other damage.
o) Never use for spreading chemicals, fertilizers, toxic materials or any other substances.
p) Never use to kindle or rekindle a fire (whether chimney, bbq, ...)
