Important safety information
▪ The appliance can be used by children older than 8 years of age
as well as by people with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities and persons lacking experience and/or lacking
knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instructions on
how to use the appliance safely and have understood the resulting
risks.
▪ Children must not play with the appliance.
▪ Children must not clean or maintain the appliance unless they are
older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
▪ Keep the appliance and its connection cable out of reach of
children under 8 years of age.
▪ The appliance must not be operated via an external timer or remote
control.
▪ If the appliance's power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person if
hazards are to be avoided. Improper repair may put users at serious
risk.
▪ After using the appliance, clean all surfaces/parts which have come
into contact with food and remove any food residues. Please follow
the instructions in the "Cleaning and care" section.
▪ This appliance is designed for use in households and similar
environments, such as:
⋅ Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
⋅ Farmhouses;
⋅ By guests at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
⋅ At bed-and-breakfast establishments.
The appliance is not intended for purely commercial use.
▪ Warning: risk of burns!! When the appliance is plugged in, its
touchable surfaces can get very hot and they remain hot even after
the appliance has been unplugged!

▪ Caution, the fan keeps operating for some short time after
switching off the appliance in order to cool down the housing.
Please wait until the fan stops operating before plugging off the
appliance.
▪ The plate eject button should not be touched during normal use
unless it is cool down to room temperature.
▪ The appliance shall be operated in closed position only. It shall not
be operated in open position in order to avoid the risk of scalding
and excessive temperature.
▪ Attention! Do not use the appliance near or under flammable
objects (e.g. curtains, wall cupboards) and always supervise it.
▪ Caution! The appliance gets hot! Risk of burns! Do not transport the
appliance when it is hot.
▪ Do not leave the appliance unattended!
▪ Make sure the cable is safely positioned both during and after use
(to prevent tripping/pulling by toddlers, for example!)
▪ Always use the appliance in accordance with these instructions.
Improper use can result in electric shocks and other hazards.
▪ Caution, please remove the plates only after switching off the
appliance and only when the plates are fully cooled down.
Before use
The appliance may be used only for the intended purpose and in accordance with this instruction
manual. You are therefore advised to read the manual carefully before use. It contains instructions
for using, cleaning and looking after the appliance. We accept no liability for any damage caused by
a failure to heed the instructions. Keep this instruction manual in a safe place and pass it on to any
subsequent user together with the appliance.
The safety precautions must be observed during use.
