CAUTION
Please wind the watch and set the time before
you put the watch on. This prevents lateral
pressure on the winding stem. Please use
your fingernails to pull the crown out and
turn it gently between two fingertips.
Never pull out the crown in a humid envi-
ronment or underwater: the water resist-
ance of your watch is assured only when the
crown is pushed home.
Correction push pieces should be actuated
exclusively with the correction stylus that
was delivered with the watch. The use of
any other tool could damage your timepiece.
Do not perform any calendar or moon-phase
corrections between 4 p.m. and 1 a.m.
The calendar corrections must be performed
strictly in the order described below:
1. Move the hands to 6 a.m.
2. Set the date to the first day of the month
3. Correct the month and the leap-year
cycle
4. Correct the date
5. Correct the day of the week
6. Correct the moon phase
7. Set the time

PREPARATIONS
1. If your watch has stopped running, rewind it by
hand before performing any corrections or adjust-
ments (about 10 clockwise turns of the crown).
2. You can be sure that performing adjustments is
safe if you first set your watch to 6 a.m. as follows:
advance the hands until the 24-hour hand points
at 6 o'clock (in the subsidiary dial
