PREPARATION FOR COMMISSIONING (BEFORE START-UP)
1. CHECKING OIL LEVEL AND TOPPING UP OIL
The oil should be checked and topped up with the generator placed on a hori-
zontal surface.
-Remove the dipstick cap (2) by unscrewing it.
-Inspect the level and top up if required (if it is not necessary to top up, refasten
the dipstick cap: the operation is then complete).
-Fill the oil (oil for gazoline motor 10W40 or 15W40 type )casing using a funnel
( < 1 litre ).
-Refasten the cap firmly in the filling tube.
-Wipe the excess oil with a clean cloth.

2.FILLING THE FUEL TANK

-Unfasten the cap on the fuel tank (2).
-Fill the tank (1) using a funnel, taking care not to spill any petrol.
-Refasten the cap onto the fuel tank
DO NOT FILL the fuel tank to overflowing level. Leave a gap of approximately 5 mm at

the top of the tank to allow the fuel fumes to expand.
AVOID STARTING THE MOTOR OR FILLING WITH FUEL when the spark plug cover has
been removed.
! Check the motor oil level before each start-up.
