Special safety instructions

Do not use damaged or worn chisels and
always use the correct type of tool for the
job.
Use a wire and pipe detector to check for
concealed power cables, pipes, etc. in the
items or surfaces you are going to chisel.
Always use the insulated handles to hold
the demolition hammer to avoid any risk of
electric shock from concealed power cables.
Make sure that the demolition hammer does
not damage any objects under or behind the
workpiece, e.g. when chiselling in walls.
Always maintain a rm grip on both handles
when using the demolition hammer.
Avoid blocking the ventilation slots with your
hands.
Always wear safety goggles when using the
demolition hammer for chiseling or similar
tasks where debris such as chips, sparks and
splinters can y up.
Use hearing protectors and heavy-duty
gloves when using the demolition hammer.
Ensure the demolition hammer is completely
stopped before replacing the chisel.
Wait until the chisel has come to a complete
stop before putting the demolition hammer
down, and unplug it if it is not to be used
again immediately.
Avoid touching the demolition hammer
immediately after use. It may be very hot.
Chiselling on certain materials can generate
dust that is hazardous to health. Always wear
a mask.
Note! In cold weather or after a prolonged
period of inactivity, the demolition hammer
must run unloaded for 3-5 minutes before
commencing work.
Adjusting the support handle
The support handle (5) can be adjusted to
any angle on the demolition hammer to
provide optimum support. Loosen the lock
knob (4) and turn the support handle to the
required position. Retighten the lock knob.
