EZ-WAKE Trainer is not intended for riders over 70 lb (31 kg). The EZ-WAKE Trainer is not a flotation device. Riders
should wear a properly fitted Coast Guard approved flotation vest.
PRIOR TO USE: Secure the bodyboard by fully inserting, using retaining straps and maintaining proper inflation.
Adjust the handle rope length to fit rider's height depending on whether a kneeling or standing ride is desired. Rider
holds onto the ski handle with the shorter rope. Standing riders should stand up with knees bent, leaning back slightly
with arms straight. Kneeling riders should kneel, leaning back slightly with arms straight. Place the EZ WAKE Trainer
in the water. Rider should carefully board and get in the kneeling position. Have the rider hold on to the ski handle
attached to the shorter rope.
OBSERVER: Observer in the boat holds the other ski handle attached to the long rope section. DO NOT TIE ROPE
TO BOAT! Observer must release handle if rider falls. Observer should be an ADULT and position themselves in the
boat allowing them to hold the tow rope in a secure position.
DRIVER: Driver should pull slack out of the line before gently accelerating to pull up rider. DO NOT YANK ROPE
DURING STARTS! DO NOT MAKE SHARP TURNS!
RIDER: Rider should stay kneeling at first, and then slowly stand up when they feel comfortable during the ride. Rider
should kneel back down if they are having trouble keeping their balance standing up at any time. Rider must hold on
tight during start up. When attempting to stand, rider needs to keep their knees bent and lean back slightly with arms
straight. Riders will enjoy trying different stances: facing sideways like wakeboarding, facing frontwards like waterski-
ing. Once the rider is comfortable standing on the item they can practice simple steering from right to left inside the
wake by shifting their body weight in the direction they want to go. Advanced riders may also want to try starting out
in the standing position. Advanced riders can also ride EZ WAKE Trainer backwards, kneeling or standing up! Another
option is to ride the bodyboard in a kneeling or standing position! To remove the bodyboard from the inflatable trainer
simply deflate.
SPEED: Recommended speed ranges from 5 mph (8 km/h) with Maximum of 10 Mph (16 km/h). Rider speeds vary
depending on weight, ability and water conditions. Riders should be aware of hand signals to be able to communicate
with driver on speeding up and slowing down or to cut/stop. The most common water ski hand signals are as follows:
