During breaks in ironing, leave the appliance in the vertical position.
•
Never leave the hot iron on textiles or materials which could burn easily.
•
Never rest the iron on the electrical connection cable.
•
Do not use the iron if the cable becomes frayed.
•
Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.
•
Unplug the iron from the mains supply before filling it with water, or before pouring out the remaining water after use.
•
When the ironing is finished, unplug the cable from the mains and empty out the water tank.
•
Do not unplug it by pulling on the cable, nor leave the plug hanging freely.
•
If you need to leave the room where you are ironing, then switch the iron off and pull the plug out off the wall socket.
•
With the aim of avoiding dangerous situations, any work or repair that the appliance may need, e.g. replacing a faulty mains
cable, must only be carried out by qualified personnel from an Authorized Technical Service Centre.
This steam iron may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with physical or mental

impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are properly supervised or have been informed about
how to use of the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Do not allow children
to play with the iron. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by
unsupervised children. If it is connected to a power socket or if it is cooling down, keep the iron and its
power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

Do not place the iron on or near an electric or gas stove or other sources of heat.
•
Do not touch the hot ironing surfaces. Otherwise, this could cause burns.
•
If you have wet hands do not touch the iron if it is connected to an electrical power socket.
