Intended use
The device is intended solely for cutting and styling human
hair. Any other type of use is not permitted. When used for
an alternative purpose, operated incorrectly or when unpro-
fessional repairs are carried out, there is no liability for any
damages caused. The warranty services also do not apply in
such instances!
Charging the device for battery operation
When the appliance is delivered it is not yet ready to operate.
The appliance should be charged for 8 hours before being
used for the first time.
Place the charging station on a flat surface.
Plug in the charging station. Place the device on the charging
station. The switch on the hair clippers must be in position "0".
The red control light on the charging station indicates that
there is contact between the device and the charging station.
It does not provide any information on charge status.
How to extend your battery life
Premature recharging damages the battery. To preserve the
storage capacity of the battery for as long as possible, the
device should only be recharged when almost empty and
performance noticeably declines. On this basis, if your device
is stored on the charging point, we would recommend pull-
ing the plug!
In order to avoid exhaustive discharge (which is damaging
to the lifespan of the battery), the device battery should be
fully run down and then fully recharged again every three
months. The device should also be stored at room tempera-
ture, provided that it is not used daily.
Operation
Switch the device on by moving the switch forwards to the
"I" position.
Switch the device off by moving the switch downwards to
the "0" position.
Cutting length
Without a comb attachment, the standard cutting length is
0.5 mm.
Comb attachment for extended cutting lengths
You can extend the cutting length range by 3 mm, 4.5 mm,
