MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS (PIC. 2)
Check the device for damage in transit. Please advise
the delivery company immediately if you discover any
damage.
Mount the electric hoist using the supplied brackets to a
structure of sufficiently strength to support 250 Kg without
failure and that will hold the hoist in a horizontal position.
If alternative brackets are used ensure that they are of
sufficient strength and align with the mounting holes on
the hoist.
OPERATION (PICS. 3 TO 7)
Warning!
Read and understand the instruction manual before using
the electric hoist.
Before lifting a load make sure that the steel cable is
correctly wound onto the cable drum (Pic. 3). Ensure the
load to be lifted is directly below the hoist and any lifting
chains, straps, slings, ropes and shackles are sufficiently
strong and correctly positioned to carry the weight of the
load safely and securely.
Attach the hook to the load ensuring that the safety bar is
fully closed (Pic. 4.1).
Press the upper half of the control switch to raise the load

(Pic. 5.1). Press the lower half of the control switch to lower
the load (Pic. 5.2).
The switch is also fitted with an emergency stop button. In
the event of an emergency, to stop the hoist immediately,
hit the emergency stop button (Pic. 5.3). This will activate
the mechanical lock of the emergency button, that prevents
the machine from being switched on until the mechanical
lock has been released. To release the mechanical lock
twist the emergency stop button in a clockwise direction.
To carry out a double line lift (Pic. 6), attach the single line
hook to the hoist frame (Pic. 6.1).
Remove the screw (Pic. 7.1) from the double line pulley
and hook (Pic. 7.2). Place the pulley onto the steel lifting
cable. Refit the hook and replace the screw (Pic. 7.3).
Ensure the pulley rotates freely.
MAINTENANCE
Check the hoist regularly for damage and correct
operation.
Periodically check that the steel cable is in good condition.
Damaged cables, as illustrated in picture A, B and C, must
be replaced immediately.
Check all securing screws are well tightened.
Check the control switch operates correctly. Ensure the
hoist stops when the counter weight lifts the cut out arm.
Lubricate the steel cable and other exposed moving parts
with a light coating of grease.
