SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
Please read the operating instructions carefully before you
mount the device and use it for the first time, and keep
them in a safe place for future reference.
Warning!
The electric hoist is designed for private household
use only! It is not designed for continuous use in
professional operations.
During the use of the appliance make use of the proper
protection tools like gloves, glasses, crash helmet,
safety shoes, etc. according to the regulations in force.
Warning!
Before using this electric product, carefully read the
safety rules listed below.
• Your socket plug must absolutely be grounded and your
electric system must be supplied with a magneto cut-out
safety.
• Protect the machine from frost and low temperatures.
• In case the machine cannot hoist a load, do not keep
pressing t he h oisting p ush-button: t his m eans t hat t he l oad
exceeds the machine maximum capacity.
• The machine shall not be disassembled when running or
connected to power.
• Do not stand under hoisted weights.
• Before starting the work, make sure that the steel cable is
correctly winded around the reel.
• OBSERVE THE MAXIMUM LOAD INDICATED ON THE
HOIST, NOT THAT ON THE HOOK!
• To avoid any danger, do not wind more than 15 mt of cable
around the reel.
• In case the steel cable is worn out, it must be replaced only
with a cable of same features manufactured by us. If can be
found at all authorized service shops.
• Before starting the work, check that switches are in good
operating conditions.
• In case the hoist stops during the lowering of a load, it
is normal that the load goes down a few centimeters more
because of inertia.
• Do not let the cable unwind so far that it starts to wind
up again in reverse. This will cause the cable to kink.
The winding and unwinding directions will reverse, the
limit switch will not function and the cable will kink as
result. There must be at least three revolutions of cable
left on the reel at all times, so that the cable connection
is not under stress, and whenever-the red end of the
cable appears you must not unwind any further!
• The load must never be fastened directly to the lifting cable.
It must be fastened to the lifting hook only.
• The hoist operator must keep a permanent eye on the
movement of the load. If the hoist operator cannot see
the lifting or lowering movements, the danger area must
be sealed off and additional persons with a full view of
the operating area should give instructions.
The hoist operator must always be able to see the end of
the load path, otherwise the emergency limit switch will be
actuated in the course of operations.
If the hoist operator leaves the control position of devices with
suspended loads, the danger area beneath the load
must be made secure.
• Hoists may only be used for lifting and lowering loads.
• IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN the use of the block and
tackle for people transportation.
• DO NOT stay under the load.
• DO NOT move or lift loads heavier then the maximum load
allowed as indicated on the machine
• DO NOT draw skew loads.
• DO NOT charge the hooks on the tip.
• DO NOT guide the hanging load by hands but only by ropes
or hooks.
• DO NOT use the rope of the block and tackle for the loads
harness.
• DO NOT touch the rope during the operation.
• IT'S ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN the use of ad-libbed
or not standard loads hooks or ropes.
• DO NOT USE the block and tackle in case of bad weather
(rain, freezing cold, snow) and in particular in the event of
strong wind.
• Do not use the appliance if it's not in perfect working
conditions.
