Solution
Assemble the lid (3) correctly. Make sure there is no
gap between the hinge arm (15)
and the lid. The fastening nut (5) on the lid must
be tight and screwed onto the lid together with
the black seal. Also make sure that the lid seal (4) is
correctly inserted. Clean the lid seal as described in
the "Cleaning and care" section.
Check the seal (4) for cracks and scratches. Replace
the lid seal if it is damaged.
Wait until pressure in the pan is completely
removed. Switch the appliance back to standby
mode and quickly reduce the pressure. Select the
pressure cooking programme for this and then go
directly to the pressure reduction function. Press
the rotary button (22) for more than 3 seconds. The
steam valve (1) now remains open for 30 seconds.
Caution! Never put your hands, arms or face
over the appliance, to avoid burns from steam,
hot water or food.
Make sure that the pressure bar can move freely.
Turn the lid handle (14) back and forth and then
try again. Please not that hot steam may escape at
the lid.
Ensure that the pressure is fully drained by leaving
the appliance to cool down completely for at least
2 hours. Caution! Never try to cool down the
appliance by putting it in water. Try to make
get the pressure bar working using a suitable thin
object. Caution! Never put your hands, arms or
face over the appliance, to avoid burns from
steam, hot water or food.
Clean the pressure bar as described in the "Cleaning
and care" section and put it back again properly.
The lock of the lid must be fully open in order to
close the lid. Turn the lid handle anticlockwise as
far as it will go and then close the lid.
The seal is not correctly inserted. Make sure that
the seal always fits correctly into the groove on the
edge of the lid.
