Do not wear loose long hair, loose clothing or jewellery, which could become caught
up in moving parts of the tool and cause injuries and clothing damages.
A switched-on tool may be directed towards the work material only. Loose parts may
disunite and cause damages. A person or an object may become in contact with the
tool, which could cause an accident or material loses.
Cold or wet hands, smoking and snivel may increase vibration caused hazards.
Let the tool operate and by holding the handle use the least possible force. If pos-
sible, the tool should be supported on a stable support block.
Interruption of work should be ensured or another kind of work, not involving use
of vibrating tools should be alternatively performed, in order to reduce the harmful
influence caused by the vibration.o Ensure that the workplace is well lit.
Important information
Tools must be lubricated
Before use always lubricate the tool with a few drops of oil AIRTOIL 22 (Luna 15531-
0105) intended for use with pneumatic tools by dropping it into the air inlet opening
of the tool. In case of continuous work, a pneumatic lubrication system (Luna 20571-
0106) should be used, adjusted to about two drops per minute.
If the tool is not used for a longer period of time, it is required to drop a few drops of
oil before storage of the tool, in order to reduce the corrosion risk.
Attention! Use only oil that is supposed for pneumatic tools specified in the operation
instructions. Use of other oils may result in "clumping" of oil and reduction of the
movement ability of the machine. It may cause reduced work efficiency.
Leakages must be avoided
Avoid leakages in the air circulation system. Always use a thread sealing tape at the
point where the pipe is connected to the tool. Pay attention that hoses and hose faste-
ning clamps are in good working order.
The compressed air must be dry
As clean and dry the compressed air is, the longer is lifetime of the tool. In order to
ensure that, we recommend use of air filter, which removes water from the compressed
air and reduce risk of damages on tool and connections caused by corrosion.
Remember to remove eventual water condensate from the compressor and the com-
pressed air supply system before each working day.
Remember!

Instructions
Under no circumstances a defective riveter or blind rivet can be used as it may cause
injuries and material loses.
Remove the plastic plug from the air inlet opening (Pos.4) and assemble a nipple with
1/4" external thread.
Ensure that the nozzle (Pos. 1) is correct assembled and securely tightened before
operating the machine.
Assembly of nozzle (Pos. 1). – The riveter must be disconnected from the compres-
sed air supply. Push the nozzle selected (Index 1) against the spring loaded jaws
(Index 23) and screw the nozzle to the last thread and secure firmly.
Check the air pressure and, if necessary, adjust it so the machine will operate at requi-
red pressure. Adjustment of the pressure is performed by use of compressor regulator
or separately installed pressure regulator. Specification of the tool complies with at
6.2 bar pressure.
Always keep the nozzle (Pos. 1) at right angles to the work piece to be riveted. This
so the rivet attaches in a satisfactory manner.
Always be careful when using the rivet gun. A negligent attitude towards the tool
may cause damages of the internal parts and housing fractures. It may result in reduc-
tion of the tool efficiency and the tool may loose its capacity.
Maintenance: Lubrication is essential as it ensures a low noise and vibration level. In
case of continuous use of the tool is should be cleaned and checked at least 2 times a
year.
How to get the most effective pulling stroke of blind riveter
1. Turn the lock nut (18) through the threads of the hydraulic plunger (4) until 7
threads left.
2. Turn the jaw housing coupler (19) till against the lock nut (18).
3. Insert the jaw pusher spring (21) and jaw pusher (22) or (spring (71-1 and jaw
pusher (71) into the central passage of jaw housing coupler (19).
4. Place jaws (23) into the jaw housing (24) after apply thin layer of the lubricant on
the inner surface. Then, fasten the jaw housing (24) and jaws.
5. Tight up the lock nut (18) and jaw housin (24).
6. Place proper size of nosepiece (62) on the head (26) and screw the nut (25) from
the rear threaded end.
7. Turn the head (26) into the hydraulic section (1) for 2-3 turns.
8. Hold the tool and keep the head (26) vertically upward.
9. Then, insert the mandrel of blind rivets into the nosepiece (62) while keep turning
down the head (26) until the mandrel drop to the bottom.
10. Turn the head (26) downward for one more circle.
11. Fasten nut (25) with multi-wrench (66) finally.
