Adsorber filter element.
The filter element (12) should be replaced 1,000 hours service, alternatively it can be changed at the same
time as the main coalescing element.
To gain access to the Filter Element (12) push upwards on the Filter Holder (13) and turn anti-clockwise – the
complete filter holder assembly can now be withdrawn. Replace the filter and reassemble in the reverse order.
Fluid drains.
As with all pneumatic systems water will collect in the filter bowls when it is use, it must be drained regularly.
The coalescing Filter Holder (11) contains a semi-automatic drain. Fluid can be released by pushing the outlet
upwards when the system is unpressurised.
The adsorber Filter Holder (13) contains a manual drain. Fluid can be released by turning the outlet anti-
clockwise when the system is unpressurised, the drain is closed again by turning clockwise.
Compressor:
For the Clearflow 2 system to provide breathable quality air it is important that the compressor, or its remote
inlet, is situated in a clean environment (usually outside, away from sources of contamination such as traffic
fumes etc.).
The compressor must be serviced regularly, and its filters changed, according to its manufacturer's
instructions.
Recommended capacity:
To supply breathable air for up to four operators using supplied air respirators, or up to two operators using
respirators in combination with auxiliary tools such as hand held paint spraying equipment.
WARNING: Clearflow 2 filter systems do not remove CO or CO
