Important
- Do not place unstable or deformed pots on the hotplates, since they may tip over or
cause spills.
- Pay particular attention to the applicable regulations on ventilation. The use of a
cooking appliance produces heat and humidity in the room where it is installed. Ensure
the room is adequately ventilated: keep natural ventilation openings open, or install a
mechanical ventilation device (extractor hood with exhaust duct). In the event of
intensive or prolonged use of the appliance, it may be necessary to provide additional
ventilation, for example by opening a window, or more efficient ventilation, by
increasing the extractor hood speed.
The manufacturer declines any liability for damage or injury due to: incorrect installation,
improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
Technical Data
The appliance complies with the following EEC Directives:
– 73/23/EEC dated 19/02/73 (Low Voltage);
– 89/336/EEC dated 03/05/89 (Electromagnetic Compatibility);
– 93/68/EEC dated 22/07/93 as amended.
According to the legislative decree of 25th July, n. 15 "Actuation of Directives 2002/95/EC,
2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC, regarding the reduced use of dangerous substances in electric and
electronic appliances, and waste disposal"
The symbol of the barred dustbin shown on the appliance indicates that at the end of its useful life it must be
collected separately from other waste.
The user must, therfore, deliver the appliance at the end of its working life to a special disposal plant for
electronic and electro-technical waste, or return it to the seller in exchange for a new version of the same
type of appliance.
Correct disposal permits environmentally friendly recycling, processing and elimination of the disused
appliance, safeguarding against harming the environment or causing any health risks as well as recycling the
appliance materials.
Improper disposal may subject the user to the fines indicated in the Legislative Decree. n. 22/1997"
(article 50 and thereafter of Leg. Decree n. 22/1997).
