Fitting in the cabinet
After carrying out the necessary connections, position the sealing strip all around the cut-
out and lower the hob into position. Carefully tighten the fixing hooks (fig. 2). Remove any
excess sealing strip.

Important
This is a Type "Y" appliance in terms of protection against the risk of fire, which means it
can be installed near wooden walls or units higher than the installation worktop, as long as
the following minimum distances from the edge of the hob are observed: 50 mm. to side
walls, 30 mm to the rear wall and 700 mm to any wall units above the hob.
Note
When installing above a built-in oven without forced cooling ventilation, air inlets and
outlets must be provided to aerate the cabinet.
