Care & safety instructions
Dear KELA customer,
We congratulate you on the purchase of your long-lasting quality product from Kela. In order to
have many years of pleasure with it, please read the following product information, instructions
for use and care, as well as the safety recommendations.
Home-made burgers - you decide what goes on the bun! The Kela Hamburger Press is the
ideal helper for all burger lovers. You can press minced meat into thick patties quickly and
easily. Advantage: the best possible cooking time. By pressing, your patties also gain firm-
ness - which simplifies further processing.
INITIAL USE
Screw the handle onto the top section firmly using a crosshead screwdriver.
MATERIAL, CLEANING AND CARE
The hamburger press is made of cast aluminium, is long-lasting and robust. With the handle,
the pressure is distributed uniformly and the minced meat is compressed evenly. With the
non-stick coating, the patty is easy to remove from the mould. The non-stick papers, which
are also useful for stacking the patties, make removal even easier. A reduction of the cooking
time is achieved with the ridges inside the press.
Use
•
First of all, clean the hamburger press thoroughly in hot washing-up water.
• Insert the non-stick paper into the bottom mould (it may also be oiled lightly).
• Weight minced meet if necessary and insert into mould.
• Press the meat into the mould with the top section.
• Turn everything upside-down, so that the handle is facing downwards and carefully lift off
the bottom mould.
• Place the shaped, raw patties with the top section onto a plate/board and stack using the
papers.
Careful: Do not use metal cooking utensils and do not use knives to cut food in the mould.
This can cause scratches and incision marks in the non-stick coating, which can affect the
non-stick action.
