HYDROPNEUMATIC RIVETING MACHINE
• Wear eye and ear protection, a half mask and protective gloves when using the tool.
• Do not use the tool in potentially explosive areas where combustible materials are available;
• Do not grasp the device by the hose.
• Do not leave the pneumatic tool running during any transport.
• Switch off the unit immediately if it is blocked. Disconnect the air supply and do not turn on again until the problem is
solved. Understand the reason why the tool was blocked and ensure that this situation will not happen again.
• Make sure that the accessory to be used is not damaged. If in doubt, exchange the part.
• Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the work area.
• DO NOT use the riveter for any purpose other than that for which it was designed.
• DO NOT point or pull the riveter at people or animals.
General information
The pneumatic riveting machine is a device supplied with compressed air of appropriate pressure. It is possible to
connect elements using aluminium, steel and stainless steel rivets. The device is more efficient and comfortable than
a manual riveter. The reliable and safe operation of the machine depends on its proper use. The maximum atmosphe-
ric pressure is 90 PSI per tool.
Accessories
The riveting machine is equipped with a connector that allows it to be connected to a pneumatic system. The equip-
ment includes 1/8», 5/32», 3/16» (AHR-200); 5/32», 3/16», 1/4» (AHR-300) nozzles for rivets of different diameters
and keys allowing their exchange.

Commissioning of the system
The compressed air network must be perfectly purged and adapted to the consumption of the tool. A pressure-reducer
and lubricator filter (except for tools provided without lubrication) of appropriate size must be installed at a maximum
distance of 10 metres from the tool. Its regulation pressure must be set at 6,3 bar and the special oil flow rate for tools
to be lubricated must be about 1 drop of oil every 30 seconds for an air flow rate of 100 litres/mm. Be careful, the air
consumption of your tool must be higher than the minimum priming rate of your lubricator. A shut-off valve must be
placed upstream.
The connection between this filter-regulator-lubricator unit and the tool is made with a special «compressed air» rubber
or PVC «compressed air» hose with a maximum length of 10 metres and an internal diameter of at least 8 mm for tools
with a 1/4» supply connection and 12 mm for 3/8» connections. It must be equipped with an automatic or semi-auto-
matic closing connection close to the tool, for easy disconnection.
Use of the system
Only use accessories in perfect condition that correspond to the characteristics of the tool.
Avoid running the tool empty. If this is the case, after a long period of use, make sure that no accessories are attached
to the tool. It is essential to disconnect the tool for the installation of accessories. Check that they are perfectly fixed
before connecting the tool.
Regularly inspect the condition of the supply piping. In the event of damage or leaks, proceed to immediate repair. A
broken pipe can cause serious injury. Periodically check lubricator levels, filter and pipe purging.
Maintenance
At the beginning of the day and before a long shutdown period, introduce a few drops of special oil directly into the intake
port. Do not use flammable liquids such as gasoline and diesel.
Regularly check the condition of the regulating filter and the oil level in the lubricator of the air system.
Ensure that the supply connections, piping and accessories are in perfect condition. Regularly drain the compressor pipes
and tank. Don't forget your probation deadline.
Only original parts available from the supplier may be used for tool maintenance.
The company cannot be held responsible for changes in tools and non-compliance with general safety rules relating to the
use of compressed air.
