Installation instructions - Cool box with cooling unit Scope of delivery 4M8.065.402
– Slide the switch -2- to the "HOT" -3-position -1- (heating) or
to the "COLD" position (cooling) to switch on the cooling
unit.
Note
When switching to the required function, the red LED illumi-
nates for "HOT" (heating) and the green LED for "COLD" (cool-
ing).
– The cool box begins to cool or heat the container.
– To cease operation of the cooling unit, slide the switch to the
"OFF" position and pull the connector out of the 12-V socket.

6.1.1 Replacing the fuse in the 12-V plug

WARNING
Before starting the repair, disconnect the connector from
the vehicle's on-board supply.
– Remove the grommet -3- from the 12-V-1-connector hous-
ing.
– Unscrew the 12-V connector housing -1-, remove the screw
-4- and separate the connector housing.
Note
Open the connector housing carefully – contains small parts!
– Replace the fuse -2-.
– Reassemble the 12-V connector housing -1- and screw in
the screw -4-.
– Tighten the bolt -4- until it is hand-tight.

6.1.2 Using the shoulder strap

– There is a clip on each end of the shoulder strap -1-.
– There is a fastening loop -2- on the left-hand and right-hand
side of the cool box.
– If -1-you-2- wish to use the shoulder strap, insert the clips in-
to the belt fastening loops on the cool box.
