10 Troubleshooting checklist
Feature
The device does not
switch on after connection
to the 12 Volt socket (the
green LED does not light
up).
The green LED flashes
(see fig. 1 E, page 3)
The device switches on
and off repeatedly.
The inverter switches off
when the consumer is
switched on.

Possible cause
The cigarette lighter is
switched on via the
ignition.
The battery voltage is
less than 10 V.
The device has over-
heated.
The fuse (in the inverter
or the vehicle) is defec-
tive.
The battery voltage is
below 10.7 V.
There is a poor contact in
the 12 Volt socket.
The constant load is too
high (the consumer unit
has a power consumption
of more than 100 Watts).
The starting current of the
consumer unit is too high.

Remedy
Switch the vehicle ignition on.
Charge the vehicle battery
(start the engine).
Switch off the consumer unit,
let the inverter cool down and
ensure better ventilation.
Have an electrician replace
the fuse.
Charge the vehicle battery
(start the engine).
Clean the contacts.
Reduce the constant load.
Compare the device power
with the maximum power of
the inverter.
