GENERAL INSTALLATION
The Auto Top-up IR System is designed for simple installation internally in the aquarium or sump.
1. Ensure there is adequate space in the aquarium or sump to allow the IR sensor(s) and mounting bracket
to be correctly installed.
Please Note: The IR sensor(s) must always be installed in a vertical, upright position with the power
connection cable at the top (see photo 5). Failure to do so will result in operating problems and water
overflowing from your sump or aquarium.
2. Install the IR sensor(s) at the desired water depth in your preferred location in your aquarium or sump,
ensuring that it is in a position where it will not be subject to excessive air bubbles or vigorous water movement.
Please Note: If you are using the system which incorporates two IR sensors, both must be positioned in the
aquarium or sump to ensure that the correct trigger signal will be sent when required (see photo 6).
The anti-siphon valve
