WARNING!
Risk of injury due to overturning wheelchair
When driving backwards, the wheelchair could
overturn due to a snapping in hub brake pin that
locks the wheel.
– Contact your specialized dealer immediately,
as soon as you hear a rattling noise caused
by the hub brake when driving in your
wheelchair.
– Avoid driving backwards when you hear
such noise until the hub brake is repaired or
replaced.

3.3 Backrest

Backrest cover
You can adjust the tension of the backrest cover as
required.

1. Remove the backrest cushion A.
2. Loosen the hook and loop straps B on the rear of the
backrest cover by simply pulling on them.
3. Tighten or loosen the tapes as required then reattach
them.
WARNING!
Risk of tipping
If the bands are set very loose, the tipping point
of your wheelchair is changed for the worse.
– Ensure that the bands are set correctly.
Backrest height
The height of the backrest can be adjusted. The
adjustment must be carried out by the specialist dealer.
Backrest angle
The angle of the backrest can be adjusted. The adjustment
must be carried out by the specialist dealer.

3.4 Foldable back (optional)

The back can be folded down and straightened up in both
the folded and unfolded state.
Folding down the back
1. To fold down the back, grip the strap on the back of
the wheelchair and pull it upwards.
2. At the same time, push the upper edge of the back
forwards.
Folding up the back
1. To fold up the back, grip the upper edge of the back
and fold it upwards.
