Description
The Greenlee THH-500 is a hand-held, non-contact, surface temperature sensing device. The
non-contact measuring capability of this unit is safer and quicker than other methods, and is
well suited to checking the surface temperature of circuit breakers, motors, HVAC equipment,
engines, etc.
The unit measures surface temperature by gathering three forms of infrared energy —
emitted, transmitted, and reflected energy — from an object and translating that energy into a
temperature.
The unit has a laser to assist in aiming. The display is backlit for easier reading.
