DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1.
Locate the Battery Compartment at the end of handle of UV-C
mini Sanitizer Wand.
2.
Twist cap on end of handle counterclockwise until raised
notch on cap aligns with second raised notch on unit's handle.
(Fig. 1)
3.
Insert batteries: Insert 4 AA Alkaline batteries into the battery
compartment according to the +/- indicators on the inner rim
of the unit. (Fig. 2)
4.
Replace cap on Battery Compartment. Align notch on cap with
first notch on unit's handle and twist clockwise until notch
aligns with the second notch (Fig.3).
UV-C mini Sanitizer Wand is ready to work.
5.
To Turn On: Press button once.
The green LED indicator light
will turn on and the UV-C Sanitizer Wand is ready to use.
6.
Lower Voltage Warning: When battery voltage
to 3.8V, UV-C mini Sanitizer Wand will start beeping for about
10 seconds. If no battery replacement is made after the beep
warning, unit will automatically turn off the power. (Germicidal
lamp and LED indicator light will turn off).
7.
To Turn Off: Simply press the switch once while UV-C
Sanitizer Wand is still in operation.
8.
Safety Switch: UV-C mini Sanitizer Wand contains a
switch. The safety switch protects users from direct
contact with the UV-C light. When the UV-C lamp is turned to
the upright position (bulb facing up) the switch will
automatically cut off the UV-C light. When the UV-C lamp
is pointing downwards it will resume lighting.

Battery Disposal

To preserve natural resources, please recycle or dispose of expired batteries
properly. This product mUST BE disposed of properly. Local, state or federal
laws may prohibit disposal of batteries in ordinary trash. Consult your local waste
authority for information regarding available recycling and/or disposal options.
Light Bulb Disposal
mERCURY NOTICE:
This device contains mercury in the sealed ultraviolet bulbs.
Do not place your used bulb(s) in the trash. Dispose of properly.
Broken Bulb Clean Up
Do not use a household vacuum. Sweep debris (phosphor/glass) into a plastic bag
and dispose of properly. It is recommended that the UV-C bulbs are recycled or
taken to a household-hazardous-waste collection center. Call the county
recycling center nearest you.
LIMITED WARRANTY
To the consumer, Guardian Technologies LLC warrants this product to be free of defects in
materials or workmanship commencing upon the date of original purchase. Refer to your
original sales receipt to validate start of warranty period.
If this product should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace
any defective parts free of charge. The complete machine must be delivered pre-paid to any
authorized Guardian Technologies LLC warranty service center. Please include complete
information on the problem, date of purchase, copy of original sales receipt and your name,
address and telephone number. If you are not near a warranty service center, call the factory
for assistance in the US and Canada at 1.866.603.5900. Use only genuine Guardian
Technologies replacement parts.
The warranty does not include unusual wear, damage resulting from accident, or unreason-
able use of the product. This warranty does not cover light bulbs. This warranty does not cover
unauthorized repairs. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights (other rights may vary from state to state in the U.S.A.).
We consider the registration process important to ensuring superior service to our
customers, however submitting this card to Guardian Technologies LLC is optional and does
not affect your rights to utilize this warranty according to the conditions stated above. If you
