Suggestions about chain use
Sawing wood (Fig. 8)
To saw wood, please follow the safety indications and proceed as
follows: Make sure that the wood cannot slip out of position. Hold the
short wood pieces before sawing. Only saw wood or wood objects.
When sawing, make sure not to touch stones or nails, since they could
be thrown and they could damage the chainsaw. Avoid hitting the
ground or any other object with the chainsaw while working. When
pruning branches, keep the chainsaw as far away as possible and do
not saw with the end of the guide bar. Watch if there are any roots, pits,
knolls since they can make you fall.
Remember:
The chainsaw should be on before getting in contact with the wood.
To turn it on: Press the safety button to remove the safety blockage and
turn on the ON/OFF switch. Be careful when sawing wood with
splinters since wood pieces could be thrown up at you.
Witness of overload alert (model BULK 46)
RED LED: ATTENTION! It overloads
GREEN LED: Correct operation.
Possible causes of an overload:
- Dulled chain. What causes that the worker forces the machine to cut.
- The sufficient tension does not arrive from electrical current at the
motor:
1. The power supply does not generate the sufficient tension.
2. The feeder section is little and/or too long.
¡ATENTTION!
Use feeders with three threads, with a minimum section of 1,5 mm , no longer than 25 m.
