Preferably, use the mincer at room temperature (23-25ºC). Let the machine rest for about 30 minutes
after each 15-minute continuous operation. Usage time should be reduced if the temperature is
high.
Note: If the motor slows down or stops, it could be due to trapped food. In this case, stop the mincer
immediately. Place the selector switch in position (II) and press the reverse function switch to push
the food in the opposite direction. Release the "reverse" switch and start up the mincer again (position
I). If it is still clogged, it will be necessary to stop it, unplug it, remove the cover and clean the internal
parts.
MINCING DISCS USED
The recommended uses for each of the mincing discs are:
-
Thick mincing disc: for grinding meat used in sausages and salami-type sausages.
-
Medium mincing disc: for grinding meat used in soups or spices.
-
Fine mincing disc: for grinding meat used in sauces, pates, children's food, hamburger, etc.
Experiment to choose the mincing disc that fits best with your own tastes or recipes.
The equipment does not have other accessories than those that are provided.

USEFUL TIPS

-
Cut food into strips or cubes slightly smaller than the food tube inlet.
-
Make sure the meat is free of bones, hard tendons, etc., before chopping it.
-
Meat or raw fish must be chilled (not frozen) before beginning mincing in order to reduce loss
of juices.
-
Recently minced meat should be stored in the refrigerator and cooked within 24 hours.
-
During extended mincing operations, meat fat can build up inside the mincer's nozzle, slowing
down the mincing work and motor functioning. If this happens, the grinder's operations should be
stopped, the pieces should be washed in hot water and set up again. If possible, alternate meat
mincing with mincing a bit of bread, and this will help keep the coil clean.

CLEANING AND CARE

-
Always unplug the power cord when not in use, or before removing items or cleanup.
-
Wash all parts except the motor unit with hot water and soap, taking care when handling the cutting
blade.
-
Rinse them with hot water and dry them. Do not wash them in the dishwasher. If there are
some meat remains attached, they can be submerged for a time in hot water and food debris
can be removed by hand. Do not brush the surface with sharp objects, the aluminum could get
scratched.
-
Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
-
The cutting blade and the cutting discs should be coated with cooking oil after washing them to
keep them lubricated and free of rust.
