5.- Assignation of the channels for the different zones in the home.
The user can differentiate between the various zones of the home (daytime
zone, night-time zone...) in function of the distribution of the home.
Remember that four different zones may be determined.
Once the apparatus have been determined for each zone, they should be
assigned a channel (Ch). For example, radiators in the kitchen and dining
room, Ch 01, the radiators in the bedrooms, Ch 02 etc.
Press the MD key on the console until the coding position is illuminated
(
), and select a channel using the rotary control, then press the rotary
control to confirm. The console will emit the channel code signal to each
radiator (- - - -). At this time you will have to go to each of the radiators
selected for a particular channel.
On each radiator assigned to the channel to be synchronised, press the
MODE key for 15 seconds until the letters PC begin to flash. T h e n ,
immediately push the radiator MODE key again and the hour (
The console and the radiators are now in communication. Once the hour
mode symbol has stopped flashing on each radiator, press the radiators
MODE key, immediatety push the radiators MODE key again for 15 seconds
until the symbol (- - - ) appears on the screen , t h e y a re s yn ch ro n is e d t o
obey the orders programmed from the console.
6.- Programming of the channels.
Follow the practical example shown below to programme the channels.
Example: We have decided that the radiators in the kitchen and dining room
are to be zone 1 and we have assigned them channel 1 as described in the
previous section.
Once the radiators are synchronised with Ch01 push the MD key on the
console until the programming mode (PRG) is lit. Turn the rotary control (F)
until Ch01 flashes on the screen, and then push the rotary control to confirm
and the sphere will light.
On working days (1-2-3-4-5) we want this zone in COMFORT mode during
the day (8:00 - 23:00), and in REDUCTION mode during the night (23:00 -
8:00).
By turning and pressing the rotary control (F) you have to complete the
sphere until it is illuminated in red (COMFORT mode) from 0800 to 2300 and
in green (REDUCTION mode) from 2300 to 0800.
Once the sphere has been completed, press MD to programme the days of
the week (1-2-3-4-5).
By turning and pressing the rotary control, these five days should be
illuminated, and then MD is pressed to memorise the programme. Wait until
the word YES appears on the screen and press the rotary control in order to
save the programme into the console memory.
N.B. IMPORTA N T: Different function cycles can be programmed for
each day of the week on the same channel.
