Handset does not work / blank

No ringtone from handset
No ring or dial tone for outgoing
calls
The answer machine does not
record any message.
When using the pulse dial mode with a PBX, it is possible for malfunctions to occur. This
is because the PBX misinterprets the dial pulses. Switch to tone dial mode.
You can restore the handsets and the base to their factory settings.
English - 148
is flashing
Batteries inserted incorrectly - insert the rechargeable
batteries with the correct polarity.
Batteries are flat - recharge the batteries.
Handset powered off - press and hold the End call
button [5] to power the handset on.
Handset out of range – take the handset closer to
the base.
Base has no power – check the base power supply.
The range is reduced because you have enabled
ECO Mode. Switch from ECO Mode to "normal".
Re-activate the ringtone or increase the ringer
volume.
The phone cord is defective.
Check the answer machine operating mode.
The memory is full. Delete old messages.
