TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Soot formation
Burning time too short
Flames too high
The flame does not go
out when the flap is
closed.
Possible cause
Wrong fuel
The burner orifice is
covered by foreign
objects.
Wrong fuel (e.g. gel,
alcohol).
The burner is not
completely filled.

This can happen with
large burners because
ethanol vapour can get
through the smallest
opening.
Solution
Use only 100 % bio-
ethanol.
Expose the burner
opening and place the
decoration only around
the burner slot.

Extinguish the burner,
refill it after 30 minutes
of cooling time.
Use only 100 % bio-
ethanol.
Repeat the closing
process several times
and faster to interrupt
